Mario L. Solares is an associate in the firm’s Miami office. Mr. Solares was raised in
Miami-Dade County, Florida. He graduated from Villanova University in Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and International Business. While at Villanova, Mr. Solares received The Villanova Scholarship and worked as an intern at The Securities and Exchange Commission.
Mr. Solares continued his education at the University of Miami School of Law, where he received his Juris Doctor degree. While attending the University of Miami, Mr. Solares was involved on campus as member of the Hispanic Law Student Association and the Investor Rights Clinic, an organization that represents under-served investors in securities arbitration before the Financial Industry Regulation Authority.
Prior to joining Wadsworth, Margrey & Dixon LLP, Mr. Solares was a clerk to the City of Miami Beach City Attorney. Mr. Solares later went on to clerk in-house in the legal department of a multi-national Fortune 500 corporation where he enhanced his legal knowledge by obtaining experience in procurement due diligence, employment disputes and general corporate matters.
Mr. Solares is a member of the Florida Bar and is fluent in Spanish.
